| Description: |
Across the Great Divide - A fact-based examination of our political, social, cultural and economic divide. Please join us for a gathering that will bring together people who are interested in local community solutions to a multitude of problems. There will be an informal reception, short presentation and a topical film. The goal is to develop methods to interest the broader public in positive actions that can be taken in local communities and for people to develop personal policies that are not obscured by political rhetoric, racial and religious segregation, or misinformation. This is planned to be the beginning of a monthly gathering of like-minded individuals and organizations to broaden public interest in small, local and green business, as well as local agriculture, cultural resources and media access. Please attend the first event on Friday, February 12 to be part of this initiative and help shape it from the beginning. Free Houston Institute for Culture 708 Telephone Road Houston, TX |
